Apostle Wanda Rolón is a Puerto Rican Christian leader, preacher, author, and founder of La Senda Antigua, whose ministry has impacted generations across Puerto Rico and beyond. Born in the Bronx, New York, she answered God’s call to ministry in 1983. Alongside her husband, Pastor Pablo Ortega, she began pastoring a congregation of just seven people in their own home. Through years of dedication and growth, that humble beginning became the Tabernacle of Praise and Restoration La Senda Antigua, a 5,000-seat worship center in Toa Alta, Puerto Rico.
A visionary in Christian leadership, Apostle Rolón founded the La Senda Antigua Restoration Council and the International Women of Power, Purpose, and Excellence movement, known as the Déboras, equipping thousands of women for spiritual leadership. She also established Senda Broadcasting Network, Yarah Christian Academy, and La Senda Antigua Apostolic College, extending her influence through media and education. Her ministry includes twelve musical recordings, the inspirational book No Moriré (I Will Not Die), and Christian television programming reaching Spanish-speaking audiences around the world.
Beyond the church, Apostle Rolón has brought believers together through nationwide prayer gatherings, community initiatives, and leadership development. Her service has earned numerous recognitions, including honors from the Puerto Rico Legislature and New York State Senate. In 2026, a section of Puerto Rico’s Highway 861 was named in her honor, recognizing more than four decades of spiritual and community service. Guided by her enduring declaration, “I Believe God,” she continues to proclaim a message of faith, healing, and restoration.
